every 1432 R purchase comes with a haiku written by joyce anyway - but if you'd like some poetry on its own, now you can get that too - topics will vary but stay thoughtful - no haiku is ever the same and comes written on a high quality 4 bar cards using antique, beloved typewriters - the shipping mostly covers the high quality paper and envelope, but i think the experience is worth it and i hope you agree - let me know if you are sending one as a gift to someone who might be far away right now - ill make sure they know who the poetry came from
[a haiku is a 3 line, syllable based poem with roots from feudal japan. the american version of the haiku requires that the first line have 5 syllables, then 7, then 5 again - the condensed medium allows for intense concentrations on moments that may easily be overlooked, or some are just playful, or some about our shared humanity. none of them are ironic or sarcastic, and each haiku will be written and sent with love and care ]
